The Arenal Paraíso Resort & Spa is located just in front of the Arenal volcano only 2 and a half hours from San José. The scenic beauty of the area perfectly blends with our exuberant gardens and the singularity of our rooms. The hotel has 118 rooms in total of this 74 are superior style these rooms are built completely in hard wood without leaving any modern comfort behind this rooms have 2 double beds (a few a King size bed upon request) television with cable tv telephone small fridge air condition, secure box (extra cost), hair drier, and a very comfortable bathroom.

Hotel Arenal Paraíso also has 42 standard rooms these built on concrete with beautiful detail these rooms have one double bed and 1 single bed they also have TV with English channels, air condition and a mini fridge. The hotel offers 2 suites special for families with 2 separate rooms, one with 2 double beds and private bathroom, the Master bedroom with a king size bed, walking closet and a huge bathroom with private Jacuzzi. There is a social living room and a full kitchenette.

All of our rooms have a terrace with rocking chairs to enjoy the marvelous view of the amazing Arenal Volcano. The hotel offer 2 restaurants, one offering international and local cuisine open for breakfast, lunch or dinner, also has a fabulous Restaurant known as the Rancho Paraíso Steak House with an open grill where you can see how they cook the specialties, both restaurants are together in a modern and large building and can seat more than 250 people at once guaranteeing comfort while you have your meals.

The communal areas at the resort are the owners pride, they have 14 pools (11 of them are thermal hot springs) the main one of regular fresh water is a large 2 section pool with a small bridge dividing them this pool is been built taking in mind the whole family, we also have a pool with a wet bar and hot spring mineral water this is a delight at all times of day. Most of the thermal hot springs pools are good for children are for adults to sit and relax.

The main attraction is the Arenal Volcano but the hotel has several other exiting activities like our trails on the forest that borders the hotel take a walk on these trail and enjoy great scenery animals and natural wonders like the 2 waterfalls found on the trail or you may try the Arenal Paraiso canopy tour (zip lines) of 12 platforms with 4 daily departures, or our great horseback riding to the base of the volcano (2 departures daily), we also have in our lobby a tour desk to offer you tours in the area. Accommodations at Arenal Paraiso
Standard Rooms
These rooms have private bath, hot water, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV and a small fridge. The building is made of block and all have a balcony just in front of the majestic Arenal Volcano.
Superior Rooms
Superior room includes the same services that the standard, however, these bungalows are bigger, the balcony is surrounded by glass, and the building is made of wood. In addition, these rooms offer air conditioning.
Suite Room
These are rooms have plenty of space with capacity for 8 persons, the rooms have 2 bedrooms, each bedroom with their own private bath with hot water. The main bedroom has a king size bed and a queen size bed. The second bedroom has two double beds.
Our suites are fully equipment with: refrigerator, phone, air conditioned, cable TV, microwave, kitchen, living room and a balcony with a great view to the Arenal volcano.
