At Casa de Campo, KI DZ 'n CASA provides a well-developed, year-round program of activities for children 3 - 12. lt combines the Resort's extensive sporting facilities, unique features and the well-equipped Kidz' Club, for an exciting and safe vacation experience for children.

And, there are lots of opportunities for the whole family to enjoy time together ...
a valued occasion in our busy lives.

Altos de Chavon Adventures:
A rare opportunity to learn about art and history, includes a visit to the Regional Museum, Ambar shop and the actual School of Design art and ceramic workshops. Children will pick up some inspiration and clay, modeling their own creations at the Kidz' Club -- which will be displayed at the end of the day for parents to admire.

Swimming and Pool Games:
Cool times in the pool include Volleyball, Basketball, Flipper Race, Balloon Toss, Big Splash and Swimming Contests plus recreational swimming and lessons. Certified Lifeguards are present during a water activities.

Arts and Crafts:
Imaginations soar as little fingers work with traditional and natural media to create mini-sculptures, paintings, hats and more. Contests and gallery showings for the family and works of art make great take-home gifts.

Beach Fun and Games:
Kids build sandcastles, participate in crab races and treasure hunts, compete in a TugO' War and other games. Parents are invited to join in any time, great photo opportunities! Walks along Minitas Beach to collect shells and other interesting items which later form a beach collage or decorative picture frame. There is also a playground for tots.

Tennis Lessons and Competition:
One of Casa de Campo's Pro's teaches the basics and runs mini- competitions. For more serious players, private lessons are available.

Musical Games and Talent Show:
Musical chairs, freeze dance, pass the ball and, of course, the Macarena. The talent show is a combination of song and dance, puppets and skits for all ages, with a performance for the family at the end of the day's program.

Nature Walks:
Learn about tropical plants and trees, fruit and nuts, and glorious butterflies in a leisurely stroll through the woods by the Equestrian Center. Watch as the grooms care for and feed the horses. Maybe spot a foal!

Morning at the Ranch:
Kids have a world of fun at Casa de Campo's Dude Ranch, as Professional Trainers show how to put on a horseshoe, groom and guide the horses ... then experience a ride on horseback. Parents shouldn't miss the grand finale and join the hilarious game of Donkey Polo followed by Make Your Own Pizza lunch. This special event wraps up with a ride back to the Club in a horse-drawn cart.

Camilo's Birthday:
An afternoon filled with entertainment as our Kidz'n Casa mascot - Camilo, a mischievous dinosaur, celebrates his birthday. The party fun includes games, dancing, cake and refreshments, and the whole family is invited!

Tournaments and Sports Clinics:
Based on the number of children, sports clinics are scheduled in tennis, horseback riding and other sports ... plus special tournaments get the whole family into the spirit.

Kidz 'n Casa is designed to provide variety for our young guests and family fun-time. Daily schedule and program content is subject to participation, weather and other activities in the Hotel. Special activities not mentioned above may be included.

KIDZ' CLUB*
An exclusive gathering place, the Kidz' Club is conveniently located across from the lobby area of Casa de Campo...just follow Camilo's Dinosaur pawprint. The club decor capture yhe whimsy of our guest and is outfitted with Kid-sise furniture, boardgame playing cards and activity book, two IBM-compatble computer with CD-roms, VCR's and TV monitor, Nintendo 64 and PlayStation. A Kid-friendly selection of games and videos are available. There is also a protected agrden area for outdoor club activities.

KIDZ'n CASA
Operate daily from 9:00 am. to 4:00 pm. including lunch, with programs for children ages 3-5 and 6-12. registration at the Kidz Club is from 8:30 - 9:30 am. Daily schedules are posted two days in advence. LUNCHES are served in differents resorts restaurants, as bestsuit activity schedule. Menu choices are offered on the Daily registation form. ~$40 per child per day.

KIDZ' NIGTH OUT*
On Friday and Saturday--A nigth off for you...and a nigth out for the Lids! From 7:00 pm. to midnigth, children 6-12 years of age enjoy an evening adventure, with dinner in a resort restaurant together, organized activities at the Kidz' club, with movies and more. $55 per child per nigth.

KIDZ' CARE*
Supervised baby sitting service for children age 9 month to 12 year old. Available nigthly with dinner in a resort at the Kidz' Club. $25 per child per nigth.

*24 hour advance reservations needed. minimum of two English speaking Counselors on duty at all times. Late pick-up charge of $8 per child per hour or fraction thereof. No refounds for early pick-up.

Water Safety: Kid are given bracelets upon registration: green for swimmer and red for non swimmers. A Certified Lifeguard is on duty during all water activities at the beach or any pool. All Counselors are are in the water with the children at all times. Lifevest are used during all boating activities (6-12 year old groups)

* The Counselors to children ratio is 1:5. All Counselors are Bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.

* Discipline: Before activities begin, the children are assigned their counselor, the day's activities are reviewed, along with applicable behavior guidelines, which are enforced for the safety of the children.

* Security: The Buddy System is used, which each child having a partner for the day. Roll calls are taken after each activity.
Children are taken to the bathroom in groups. no child is ever alone.

- You Do Know Where Your Child is! During morning Registration, you will receive a copy of the day's activities, locations and phone numbers so you may always welcome to join or observe.

* Sickness: A sick child cannot be accepted at cam. if a child shows sings of illness during the camp, he/she will be accompanied to the Kidz Club until the parents can pick them up.

Children should be brought to Kidz'n Casa with swimsuit on under their clothes and extra sunblock. Long pants are required on days that include a visit to the Dude Ranch.

Que Pasa’n Casa

· Starting on June 1st, for 13-18 year olds, Casa de Campo will have a teen-friendly clubhouse with comfy spaces to hang out, make new friends and have a blast! Complete with pool table, air hockey, music, karaoke, movies and more.

· At the beach, the teen hut is exclusively for them!
Que Pasa’n Casa Membership is free, however charges apply for snacks and some activities.
 

At any age, there's no better place than Casa de Campo, to reconnect and share good times with the whole family.
· Kayak down the Chavon River to a picnic lunch;
· Take a Family Horseback Trail Ride to breakfast, with grandma and small children in tow in a horse drawn buggy;
· Board a boat for Casa de Campo's “Catalina Island Survivors”!
Family time adventure Options are not included in any rates or packages. Extra charges apply. Varies by activity.
· And ... there's lots of play time at the beach with merengue lessons, sand castle building and Olympic style competitions.
· A FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT CENTER is the place for family fun! Featuring pool and foosball tables, a movie room and more.
