Hiking
tours
in USA
Hidden Trails’ hiking tours in the USA are inn-to-inn hiking holidays – in other words, all overnights will be in magnificent lodges that are distinct to the areas we have selected.
We have a superb selection of hikes in the United States of America, each promising amazing scenery and unforgettable experiences. We have hikes in world-renowned Yosemite National Park as well as the equally awe inspiring Yellowstone National Park. On Vancouver Island you can discover the charms of Washington State on our Olympic Peninsula Hike (combined with sea kayaking). In Colorado explore the Mountain Division Trail on our Colorado Back Country Hiker, and in Canyonlands National Park enjoy the wilds of Utah.
The famed Grand Canyon is a hiking destination par excellence, with Hidden Trails offering the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim, Grand Canyon-Bryce-Zion Hiker and Grand Canyon Classic hiking holidays.
Finally, in New Mexico, our New Mexico Hiker is an Anasazi Ruin exploration with nights in comfy inns.

Hiking in the USA
In some cases overnights have been planned for certain backcountry lodges (such as Phantom Ranch in the Grand Canyon) that are only accessible by foot. In these cases hikers will need to carry a light daypack for personal articles and clothing necessary for that one night’s stay.
All hiking programs will be supported by a van for shuttles to and from trailheads. Groups will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants, accompanied by two tour leaders.
Our daily distances will range between 6 to 12 miles, though generally averaging 6-15 miles per day.

| We will not shy away from hills - our tradition is the spectacular alpine experiences that have become the hallmark of our hiking adventures.
The emphasis will be upon hiking at one's own pace - no time schedules, no concern about keeping up with anyone. The mood and tone of the entire experience is leisurely and as low-key and laid back as possible.
Each of our hikes has been chosen with a single objective in mind: to provide a never-to-be-forgotten experience in an area of extraordinary natural beauty. Our hikes planned for the coming season are those types of adventures.
