Highlights of Mont Blanc
The beautiful Goms valley, situated at the highest point of the Valais area is a true paradise for walkers with its 700 km of well-marked trails, ranging from mountain and glacier hikes to gentle strolls in the valley. The peaceful valley is very much the quiet side of Switzerland and the ancient villages really are a contrast to some of the more bustling tourist resorts. Stroll through the romantic villages along the valley floor or along the mighty glaciers following the highland route, for each walking day the choice is yours. Enjoy some great hotels in a valley still relatively unexplored, yet rich in variety and very typically Swiss!
