Walking Holidays in
Wales ![]() Havens & Harbours: Sandy Haven to St. Davids Self-guided linear route The route continues past the broad expanse of Marloes Sands, best known for its stunning striped cliffs of grey, gold, red and purple, before turning north along St Brides Bay. Passing through the pretty village of Little Haven, and neighbouring Broad Haven, the trail continues beyond the wide, windswept beach at Newgale - a favorite with water sports enthusiasts.
Northward the route rises abruptly, and the landscape turns wilder, and somehow more Celtic. Spectacular riveted cliffs form the landscape, as you head towards the charming fishing village of Solva, before reaching trail's end at St Davids, the smallest city in Great Britain, with it's Cathedral and Bishop's Palace.
