Hopkins Peninsula Getaway in Belize
Belize Coast
Belize
On this beach resort getaway in Belize you are surrounded by millions of acres of reef and rainforest with unlimited opportunities for snorkelling, diving, fishing, biking, caving, kayaking and hiking through pristine and protected eco systems. The 'Barrier Reef' around 600 acre Hopkins Peninsula is recognized as one of the world's top snorkel and dive sites. Exotic tropical rivers, Mayan ruins and jungle hikes are only minutes away. The nearby Sittee River, offshore cayes, and wide flats offer some of the best kayaking and fishing on the planet! You will be greeted by a friendly and inviting staff to a beach resort with comfortable cabanas and suites, award winning dining and easy access to many of the natural wonders that have made Belize a world-class adventure travel destination!
Stretching for miles, the world-class beach offers fine golden sand and ideal swimming conditions. The water is normally crystal clear and has no strong currents or undertows. There is almost no tidal change in Belize. Unlike other coastal areas of the country, there is very little turtle grass or other vegetation which makes walking in the water difficult. You will love the pristine, fine sand and 'bath warm' water, averaging well over 80 degrees. Guests relax in a large selection of beach loungers, Adirondack chairs and hammocks, all situated under swaying palm trees or thatch Palpas and featuring the best views imaginable! Those who prefer fresh water swimming, can take advantage of two beautiful fresh-water swimming pools and whirl pool, which offer unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea! The location on the central coast of Belize is in an area that has very little population, which means very few boats. Swimming here is enjoyable and safe.
Come and enjoy a unique resort with warm ambiance recognized for comfortable four star accommodations, exhilarating activity tours and unrivalled attention to guest's comfort. With one employee for every guest, this resort offers the highest level of customer service in Belize!

Caribbean Vacation
Been there, done that? Think you know the Caribbean? As diverse as any region on earth, the Caribbean or the West Indies is a group of 7,000 islands, islets, reefs, and cayes located from the southeastern area of Mexico to the northwest of Venezuela in South America. It's a paradise whose beauty and possibilities are endless.
This safe and virtually crime free area can ensure that a Caribbean honeymoon or a Caribbean family vacation will be worry free.
Spend your days in the Caribbean diving in some of the most pristine, warm and clear waters in the world. Snorkel, swim, and fish on the water by day and dine on some of the most sumptuous Caribbean food by night. Jerk chicken, Jamaican patties, conch salad and maybe banana fritters for dessert? Whatever your taste buds crave, the melange of spices and flavors produced in the West Indies are unparalleled.
By night take a casual stroll on any of the miles of beach, or maybe a dance under the moonlight. Whatever time you spend, it will be well rewarded in a paradise you thought you knew, but come back to time and time again since there is so much more to discover in the Caribbean.
Belize
In a blur of exotic travel destinations, Belize stands out as a beacon of hope. In fact the word Belize itself is believed to have originated from the word "beacon." This theory stems from several light beacons found along its eastern shore, while a new theory suggesting a larger "beacon" may have once existed in the area just south of Belize, near Lake Izabel, which may have marked the entrance to the great seaport of Atlantis.
Its name is only one of the mysteries that surround this ancient, yet hardly blemished part of the world. Over three thousand years ago an ancient Mayan culture first laid claim to this exotic wilderness, and founded a civilization whose temple remains can be found today by hiking into the lush tropical canopy that blankets this coastal oasis just south of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
From the nearly 4,000 ft. high mountain peaks to the stunning cayes and barrier reefs; from its archaeological sites and protected national parks, to its marine and wildlife reserves, Belize is an adventure travelers paradise! Jaguar Reef Lodge offers a wide array of tour offerings. Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and hiking are amongst the best in the world, and at every step is an unfettered natural wonder for you to explore and immerse yourself into.
Just a few hours from the U.S. mainland or Mexico, Belize is ideally situated to allow you to get out of the rat race in a hurry and start your Belize vacation by transforming your stress into bliss and your worries into excited anticipation.
This resort will offer you the pampering and laid back atmosphere you've always wanted, but have never quite found so perfect as you will in Belize.
