SUMMER OVERNIGHT CAMP-OUTS
We will have overnight mountain camps from mid June thru to end of September once weekly. This involves a two day ride and one night overnight camp-out in wall tent accommodation, air beds and sleeping bags will be provided by the ranch, breakfast, packed lunches and supper will also be provided by the ranch. Ride the range, check cattle and then when the day is done, sit around the campfire, eat supper swapping stories of the day! The next morning, drink camp coffee and eat breakfast and pack some lunch, then it’s off to catch your horse, check cows and come home to the ranch for supper! There will be an additional cost of $200.00 per person to participate in the two day one overnight mountain camp-out trip. This trip is not part of the standard ranch package, and is recommended for Intermediate and Advanced riders, please be aware that there are camp toilet facilities but no shower facilities at the camp.

HORSE WHISPERING CLINICS
-- we have our HORSE WHISPERING weeks where you can watch and join with Marc Dixon at his clinic to start training some of our home bred quarter horse colts and a true "born in the wild" mustang. This is an amazing week to come and see the magical transformation of the colts as they start their journey to become working ranch horses for our ranch. Marc also works with our guests' training issues and helps you to implement this for yourself .

Guests arrive on 21st July and depart on 28th July. This week's activities including standard ranch package is $1970.28 for 2012

SPECIAL NATIVE AMERICAN ACTIVITY WEEKS
All Native American and Nile weeks involve additional charges, Standard ranch week price is not available on these weeks.
The timing of all rides may vary depending on weather conditions and temperatures and may depart either with an early morning start or later in the evening when the temperatures are cooler for the safety of our guests and horses, we also need to make our guests aware that it is the ranch owners decision when to make changes to a ride and if ground conditions are dangerous for the guests and horses, rides may be cancelled.As the Native American rides are per-planned no refund is given if ride is cancelled due to weather conditions, but we will try to arrange a replacement day ride within the week if possible.
All of the below trips are recommended for Novice, Intermediate and advanced riders, and must be per-booked.

CUSTER RE-RIDES AND RANCH WEEK
The week starts on 16th June arrival/departure 23rd June.The ranch week starts with collection at Billings between 1pm and 3pm, with some time to shop in Billings before heading to the ranch. The first afternoon and evening at the ranch are to let our guests settle in and familiarize themselves with the ranch and amenities and get their saddles assigned for the week. The horse safety class and ranch riding will commence the next day 17th June at the ranch until we go over to the Real Bird Custer two day ride.The first ride starting on 19th June with second ride on 20th June, with our Native American Crow Indian guides, we will re-trace Custer’s last footsteps of the battle. Our Native American Indian Crow guides will tell of the battle from the Native American perspective along the way whilst you ride Native American horses in this special area, This is a two day ride covering around 12 miles per day, where you will sleep in a teepee on 19th June along the way, one packed lunch, one dinner, one breakfast, 1 set lunch menu is also provided at the Trading Post. We also visit the Real Bird Re-enactment of the Custer battle on 22rd June a set lunch menu at the trader post is also included. This week's activities including standard ranch package is $2070.28

The week starts on 23th June arrival/departure 30th June and is a two day ride, the first ride starting on 25th June with second ride on 26th June, with our Native American Crow Indian guides, we will re-trace Custer’s last footsteps of the battle. Our Native American Indian Crow guides will tell of the battle from the Native American perspective along the way whilst you ride Native American horses in this special area, This is a two day ride covering around 12 miles per day, where you will sleep in a teepee on 25th June along the way, one packed lunch, one dinner, one breakfast, 1 set lunch menu is also provided at the Trading Post We also visit the Real Bird Re-enactment of the Custer battle on 24th 1 set lunch menu is also included ! POW-WOW/RANCH WEEK

The week starts on 11th Aug arrival/departure is on 18th, The first of the pow-wow rides is on 16th Aug and is a day ride of 4hrs over the Custer Battlefield, reliving the history of the battle thru the Native American guides' perspective.You'll be sleeping overnight on 16th Aug in a teepee at the Indian encampment, packed lunch, dinner and breakfast are included in this package. Join us the next day to go to the Crow Indian Pow-wow for a spectacular event of Native American dancing and culture and visit a Native American Rodeo too, guests will return to the ranch for supper. The timing of the rides may vary depending on weather temperatures and may depart either with an early morning start or later in the evening when the temperatures are cooler for the safety of our guests and horsesThis week's activities including standard ranch package is $1965.28

POW-WOW/RANCH WEEK

The week starts on 18th Aug arrival/ departure is on 25th Aug. The second ride is on 20th Aug, a day ride of 4hrs over the Custer Battlefield, reliving the history of the battle thru the Native American guides' perspective.
You'll be sleeping overnight on 19th Aug in a teepee at the Indian encampment, packed lunch, dinner and breakfast are included in this package. NILE STOCK SHOW/RANCH
The Nile stock show, pro rodeo and horse sales is on 17th October thru 20th October. We will be attending the evening Ranch rodeo on 17th October, we also go to the rodeo on Saturday 20th October, on this night we stay overnight in Billings at a hotel , we will leave mid-morning to attend the horse sale and other Nile events and horse clinics. We attend the VIP dinner before the Rodeo in the early evening and the the rodeo itself, usually after the rodeo, we go to a local Billings western bar and dance the night away to the wee hours. This week's activities including standard ranch package is $1820.28

Riding Level Explained
A Beginner
Beginner A rider who has limited experience, is unable to post the trot and does not canter.
B Novice
Novice A rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots, and short canters.
C Intermediate
Intermediate A rider who has a firm seat, is confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly.
D Strong Intermediate
Strong Intermediate An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours per day.
E Advanced
All of the above, plus an independent seat, soft hands, and capable of handling a spirited horse in open country.
