Deluxe Buenos Aires Equestrian Escape
Buenos Aires
Argentina
Discover a heavenly place, friendly and bucolic, perfect for those who love nature and beauty…
Live the life of
an Argentine aristocrat at this restored Norman-Tudor mansion just 45
minutes from buzzing Buenos Aires. Spend the days exploring the 180
acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on a guided walk, in a carriage
or on horseback (possibly the most appropriate choice in Argentina).
From polo and tennis to yoga and nature walks, this estancia is a haven
of outdoor pursuits — though sipping a glass of wine on a vine-covered
veranda is just as appropriate. The three floor mansion estate, was built by renowned architect Alejandro Bustillo in Maximo Paz. The estancia can host 30 people, but riding groups are kept small. You can opt for daily trail rides into the countryside or add some Polo instructions with the professionals...
In the main house, two white marble staircases lead to a maze of spacious corridors hung with big-name paintings, and enormous bedrooms with masterfully inlaid wood floors and marble fireplaces. This is an enchanting boutique hotel, which features a piano room, a billiards rooms, two reading rooms, a large modern living room, a colonial dining room with 19th Century Spanish furniture, a modern breakfast room and tables on the veranda. Everybody can find their own nook to eat, sleep and meditate.
Laze in the princely blue swimming pool and stroll amidst the marble benches and statues in the park - designed 70 years ago by famous landscaper Charles Thays. Dinners, luncheons, and garden parties are held in this fashionable "old time" atmosphere.
