Introduction
California
USA
Surrounded by National Forest and the Trinity Alps wilderness area in Northern California you will find a guet ranch on 367 acres that was first established in 1900. It lies along Coffee Creek, an excellent trout fishing stream! Stockers can be found in the Trinity River, East Fork, or in the Coffee Creek Ranch pond. The ranch is located 72 miles Northwest of Redding, 8 miles above Trinity Lake. There are many terms to describe the ranch; dude ranch, vacation ranch, horseback riding ranch and so on but the one term that best describes this place is Guest Ranch. The people who visit are guests and they are treated such, catering to their every need and making sure that they enjoy their stay from howdy to adios. A taste of southern hospitality blended in with old west culture to make a relaxing and enjoyable stay to all who come. If it's a ranch vacation that you are wanting to experience then the staff will make your stay one that you will truly enjoy. Horseback Riding: the ranch has every imaginable Dude Ranch amenity, with the most popular activity still being Horseback Riding. The ranch breeds its own AQHA and Paints. Typically, two rides a day are scheduled, and rides are divided by ability level. Private lessons can also be scheduled. Breakfast rides are the most popular, with the all-day "wilderness ride" to a lake the most spectacular! For a unique riding experience, the all-day ride may be extended into an overnight pack trip returning the next day. If horseback riding is your pleasure and nature is your love, the miles of trails will surely satisfy. The ranch has access to many trails that lead through some breath taking scenery, the waterfall and Sugar Pine Lake rides are well worth the trip with views that you can't find at many other guest or dude ranches. When guests aren't out exploring the mountain trails of the Trinity Alps, there's plenty to keep them busy back at the ranch. They can swim in the heated pool, soak in the outdoor Jacuzzi spa under the stars, or work out in the exercise room. They can also try their hands at badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, table tennis, pedal boating, or basketball. Guests can test their skills at the rifle and archery range. Hiking trips can be planned, and mountain bike trails parallel the wilderness area. Supervised summer youth programs are specially designed by age groups. The rest of the week is sprinkled with bingo, square and line dancing and a talent show. Karaoke too! Gold panning will keep you entertained year-round and keep you looking for MORE! You can be sure that you'll find just what you're looking for at the Coffee Creek Ranch.
Accomodation

The secluded cabins may look rustic from the outside, but the atmosphere inside is cozy. Each cabin has a theme based on its brand. Circle B, for example, is decorated with bears, Bigfoot, and butterflies! All fifteen cabins have tall pines and ceiling fans to help keep them cool. One ranch house room and one cabin are equipped for the handicapped. Most family cabins have wood-burning stoves where a view of the fire sets the mood for those "romantic weekend getaways" for couples. MealsIn the large, modern kitchen professional chefs prepare nutritious meals laden with fresh fruits and vegetables. Only the choicest, leanest beef is served alongside home-baked breads. These fresh baked breads are our specialty at the ranch and are prepared from old family recipes! The menu is planned and prepared keeping in mind both children's tastes and the hearty appetites of the adults in the family. The weekly Steak Fry is worth waiting for! You will also enjoy a pool-side barbeques, Mexican buffet, Italian buffet and salad bar. For the more adventuresome, escape with a breakfast or afternoon picnic ride to enjoy a cowboy breakfast or lunch on the trail. Menus can be planned ahead to cater to any of your special needs.Sample Menu
