Introduction
Baltic Sea Germany

Experience the charm of Heiligendam – the oldest seaside resort of Germany, only 2 hours from Berlin and Hamburg! Already Luise of Prussia and European high aristocracy have enjoyed the exclusivity of this spectacular place. Experience the splendor of the historical building complexes of the Kempinski Grand Hotel on the beach of the Baltic Sea that will captivate you from the moment you arrive.
We have put together a riding holiday at this breathtaking resort with excellent riding opportunities from dressage, Western riding, or even polo!
On the premises is the enormous stud property Vorderbollhagen, well known for its race course. This is a paradise for the horses, with large paddocks and beautiful open fields to play in. Here Mecklenburger and Holsteiner are bred and trained skillfully and carefully. Instructions for beginners and advanced (to Class L) are offered in the indoor riding arena (20x60m), on the dressage court (20x60m) or on the jumping course.
The trail rides are across soft and sandy trails, lush meadows and through the forests up to the Baltic Sea. Also, from October to March there is beach riding available. For the Western rider there are even first-class Quarterhorses available for your hacks. Advanced riders can also learn the royal game of polo on accomplished Argentinean-bred polo ponies. Non riders can even participate with the horses in wonderfully restored horse carriages. We have included 6 riding segments for the week, but you can add as many as time allows.
Come and relax in elegance and beauty. Behind historical fronts, 225 luxuriously equipped rooms and suites (surcharge) with the highest comforts await you.
The finest culinary creations are served at the gourmet restaurants “Friedrich Franz” or “Kurhouse” under enormous crystal chandeliers. From the “Baltic Bar” you can end the day with some refined wines or spirits as you enjoy the sunset over the Baltic Sea.
