Enjoyed the most: Riding along the beach and through the water on the second day!

Bothered you: Not being able to canter or gallop on the horses, we only walked, tolted and trotted.

Sharon Shepard 6/24/2008

Enjoyed the most: The tolting horses, they were a wonderful breed to experience. All the horses did a good job.

Bothered you: The ride was listed as intermediate but two of the riders had very little, if any riding experience and at times held back the group.

Comments: I've ridden in Wales, England, Ireland, France and New Zealand. This was the best riding holiday I have done!

Joanne Filkins 6/24/2008

Enjoyed the most: The Icelandic horses and their unique gaits and gentle temperaments. The scenery was also fascinating.

Bothered you: At the farm the beds were too hard for my back, but that's not a major problem.

Comments: Accommodations were more rustic than on some other trips but we expected that from the description of the trip.  The chef who accompanied us on the trip did a great job and the food was very good but not on the gourmet level that we had in Austria last year, which is the only reason I did not mark it excellent.  The guide was excellent.
