Magnolia Midlands on Peruvian Pasos
Georgia
USA
Nestled in Central Georgia's Magnolia Midlands this riding center is a traditional Peruvian Horse Ranch. The owners strive to preserve the tradition and heritage of the smoothest riding horse in the world - THE PERUVIAN PASO HORSE - With over 140 acres of private riding trails and access to several National parks, the ranch offers a convenient location for training, or trail riding getaways. Angel and Andrea Rodriguez welcome you to their operation and will be your hosts throughout your stay. Your stay can include daily instructions on Peruvian Pasos combined with extended trail rides into the surrounding countryside. Riding the smooth gaited Pasos will be an experience you never forget. If you still have more energy, the area is full of history and a drive to the beach in Savannah can be a nice change of pace during the week. On Saturday evening the Hacienda will cater a traditional Peruvian meal/barbecue.

A typical riding day would be: Breakfast in the morning in your cabin. At 9 o'clock we meet at the barn, where everyone tacks up and gets the horses ready. We’ll give lessons to get our guest familiar with the Peruvian horse, tack and style of riding. This is the time to practice the Paso Llano and Sobreandando gait that these horses are famous for. If you do not needor want additional lessons, a trail ride will take you into the countryside. Around 12:30 PM we break for lunch. In the afternoon we meet back at the barn to start an extended trail ride. We explore extended trails on our smooth gaited horses. We have access to several wonderful trails on the ranch property, ride across adjoining farmlands and forest or for more extended rides we will trailer the horses to nearby National parks.
