Costa de la Luz Trail
Southern Spain
Spain
This Spanish riding tour is based outside of the idyllic little town of Conil la Frontera, a place surrounded by serene nature and close to the beautiful, sandy beaches and the handsome pine tree forests of Roche. Discover the pleasing beauty of the area's horseback trails which will
surprise and charm you along the way. This ride caters to all enthusiastic riders that are
comfortable and find enjoyment in all the gaits - walk, trot and canter. Ride amongst the famous Spanish bulls in their green summer pastures, canter along miles of wide open beaches with the refreshing salty breeze in your hair and explore along the
cliffs of the seaside village Conil. Don't miss the famous Andalusian sunsets, infamously romantic and fulfilling. The horses
will stay out on the trail on each of the five riding days while you are transferred back to the
riding center for your overnight comfort - so no hassle of packing your bags each day. It's all about enjoying yourself with the simple pleasures and beauty of Spain's Costa de la Luz.

An ideal climate for riding all year round: The frequent
winds between the Mediterranean and the Atlantic make it cool enough to
enjoy riding even during the hottest sunny periods. In winter the temperature
seldom drops below 15º C.
Good sun protection (gloves, sunscreen, hat
with a chin strap), sunglasses with straps, swimsuit, towel, shorts,
and a windbreaker should also be taken. A jacket or sweater for the
cooler evenings is recommended. A hard hat is not mandatory, but
recommended for safety. A belt pack in which to carry your camera and
other small valuables during the ride is handy. Attire is strictly
informal throughout, though if you are planning to visit other cities
on your own later you may wish to bring a jacket and tie. Regular film
can be obtained locally, but special sizes may not be available - bring
plenty to be safe! It is also a good idea to bring your own soap, since not all hotels
supply it.
