Built in 1906 as a private home, Abigail's,
Mendocino bed and breakfast, boasts 3 suites and 3
private rooms, all with luxurious linens, private
baths and knockout views. It's high ceilings and
large windows provide a feeling of luxury light,
openness, comfort and spaciousness. Expect exemplary
service and friendliness. Abigail's is in the heart
of historic Mendocino and is virtually next door to
the Whitegate Inn and two of Mendocino's finest
restaurants. It is located within easy walking
distance to all Mendocino's unique shops,
restaurants and other amenities. We offer a truly

Regular Rooms include:
Drawing Room: This downstairs room is a
hidden gem. It is a large very private sunny room
with a view of the garden. It contains a queen sized
four poster bed, a large closet, sitting area and
full bath with shower/bath combination.
Forest View
Room: This upstairs spacious room has a
wonderful view of the wooded hills surrounding
Mendocino through two large windows. There is a
queen sized brass bed, a sitting area, Cable TV and
plenty of storage room. The bath contains a tiled
shower. Forest View and Magnolia have connecting
doors and can be rented separately or together.
Magnolia Room:
Adjacent to the Forest View room, these two rooms
can be rented as connecting rooms or separately.
Magnolia has a queen sized brass bed and a bathroom
with shower/bath combination. There is an adorable
sitting area and plenty of closet space.
Suite upgrades include: Meadow View Suite: This upstairs suite
contains two full bedrooms, each with a queen sized
brass bed, Cable TV, a sitting area and a full
bathroom. One bathroom has shower and bathtub
combination and the other contains a brand new tiled
shower. Both bedrooms have closets or armoires for
storage. The bedrooms are adjoining and be accessed
internally. They can also be locked off for extra
privacy. This suite offers the best of both
worlds. You can visit with your family or friends
without meeting other guests, yet have total privacy
when desired.
Big River Suite:
This luxurious downstairs suite is located in the
front west side of the house. It contains a fully
equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a living room
with a queen sized futon couch, Direct TV and a
light-filled bedroom with a queen sized four poster
bed. The bathroom contains a shower bathtub
combination. The Suite has a view of the Big River
estuary and the ocean and its large windows draw
your gaze to historic Mendocino buildings and fields
of wildflowers.
Ocean Deck Suite:
Access the Ocean Deck Suite from the garden
level via its own private outside staircase. A
spacious magnificent private deck overlooking the
ocean and much of Mendocino greets you upon arrival
at this luxurious suite's front door. Inside there
is a fully equipped kitchen which adjoins a sunlit
living room and dining area, all with spectacular
ocean views. Dine inside or on the deck or just sit
and drink in the view and Mendocino's magic. The
living room contains a queen sized sleeper couch, a
sitting area and features Direct Satellite TV.
The large bedroom contains a king sized four poster
bed, a bureau and large closet. The bathroom has a
shower bathtub combination.
