Immerse yourself in the art and style of traditional
English riding while learning the Dressage theory along with the
techniques of suppleness, flexibility and collection. The curriculum
includes individualized group instructions and relaxing trail riding. For
those preferring Western riding, basic riding instructions for novice
riders are available.
Experienced rider or new in the saddle, the
professional instructors will help you to improve your riding ability –
English or Western. Serious riders can also take advantage of
Jumping and Introduction to Cross
Country instruction.

Non-riding companions
Non-riding companions will find much to do including swimming,
tennis, beach and lake activities, clay bird shooting (not included), fly fishing and
hiking.
6 days/ 5 nights $ 275 when sharing a room with riding companion.
Sample Itinerary:
Sunday: Arrive in the afternoon and check in. Overnight.
Monday: The morning starts with theory about
horse care, stable management, etc. followed by an hour of dressage,
jumping or cross country lesson. Let us know your preference in advance.
In the afternoon you can enjoy a two-hour guided trail ride or have
another instruction session.
Tuesday to Thursday: A morning one hour lesson is followed by an afternoon
two hour trail ride. On Tuesday afternoon enjoy a relaxing sports-massage
in the afternoon.
Friday: A two hour trail ride is scheduled for the morning. Please
request a late check out, so you can take a shower before departure.
During
your stay you can take advantage of the massage therapy on-site.
This riding clinic includes a one-hour “Relaxing Sports Massage” - it
relieves muscle soreness and eases tired joints that result from
overexertion or intensive exercise. Other massages available are
“Aromatherapy” and “Hot Stone Massage.”
Non-riding companions
Non-riding companions will find much to do including swimming,
tennis, beach and lake activities, clay bird shooting, fly fishing and
hiking.

Majestically set on 350 acres in Vermont’s
lush Green Mountains with sweeping views of a pristine mountain
lake and an infinite expanse of National Forest, the Green Mountain
getaway offers an endless array of outdoor
activities. Ideal for both couples and families, there’s something
for everyone. The main inn has a spacious lobby of post and
beam construction, a stone fireplace and many antiques. The guest
rooms are well appointed in the tradition of a mountain lodge with panoramic
views. For larger groups we can offer cabins and chalet accommodations.
