Your Trip
is confirmed!
We recommend that you make all of your necessary travel arrangements and inform
our office regarding your arrival and departure details as soon as possible.
Transfers: If we are arranging any transfers for you, it is important
that you let us know all of your arrival details at least three weeks prior to
the trip start date.
Insurance: It is a good idea to check out Trip Cancellation insurance options on our website at:

Information Package: Hidden Trails will send the information package
and invoice by e-mail and you will have access to all the info via your online account with us – you will not receive a copy by snail mail unless you specifically as for it!
The information packet has been assembled to help you more fully prepare for your journey
and will give you some details on horses and tack, a suggested clothing list,
as well as info on “How to get there”. We ask that you
thoroughly review the attached information packet. Some of the general travel
info (especially for overseas travel) is only meant to be a guideline. Please,
check with your local physician re vaccinations, and with the nearest consulate
re Visa requirements, etc.
Once we have received the signed
forms and full payment from you, we will send you our Trip Voucher and local contact details including
local phone numbers etc. For most trips we will also include a list of lodgings
for your trip, but please keep in mind that these may still be adjusted prior
to your trip.
If someone at home needs to get
in contact with you during your trip, they are best to contact the Hidden
Trails office or our local partner, who will be in charge of the tour –
rather than the local lodgings.
Your balance is due 10
weeks prior to your trip departure (date is indicated at the bottom of our
Invoice) or immediately for short term bookings, which you can pay with Visa
and MasterCard. If there is enough time you can also make payment by check and
money order. Please note that we will automatically charge the remaining
balance to your credit card 10 weeks prior to the trip departure unless
you make other arrangements. If you signed up within 10 weeks of your trip
departure, we will process full payment now.
You will be experiencing new
countries and new customs. Many things are different than at home - from food
and horse care to riding style and accommodations. With a cheerful disposition
it is easy to get into the swing of things. Adventure travel and horseback
riding in North America or internationally is fun and at the same time a cultural
experience.
