    Iceland in October

Thinking of doing Horse Roundup in Iceland mid-October. I have ridden Icelandics before, in Vermont, and I love those little horses. Anyone up for this?

    Re: Iceland in October

I would LOVE to! The tours I've been looking at are a bit out of my current price range, but I've got the summer to save up, right? I've never been overseas, but have always wanted to see Iceland. Would love to have someone to go with, I'm not a giant fan on being by myself in another country, if you know what I mean? Grew up riding, training, diving & rounding up horses, so what better way to see Iceland while I'm there?

    Re: Iceland in October

I thought I had replied, but maybe I didn't. I went last October, at Polar Hestar near Akureyri and it was the best riding trip EVER. These horses are both fearless and safe. It's fast riding all week. I would go back this Fall, only I can't have time off. Still thinking of going riding in Iceland this summer, though...
