Sample Itinerary - subject to changes

Please, note that the itinerary below is to be considered indicative. It may be subject to variations due to weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.

Day 1: Arrival
Please arrive in time for dinner.
Meals included: Dinner
Overnight at hotel in Castiglione della Pescaia

2nd day: CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA (B/L/D) Independent journey to the stables and departure for trekking in the Mediterranean scrub towards the Hermitage of San Guglielmo, patron saint of the town. It is a Romanesque church with an eighteenth-century altar. The hermitage stands immersed in vegetation and is linked to the story of San Guglielmo, a noble warrior who converted to Christianity after leading a sinful and dissolute life. Lunch set up along the route, return in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

3rd day: CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA (B/L/D) Departure in a northerly direction, towards the Rocchette, an enchanting beach embellished with fine sand and a cliff of smooth rocks, bathed by a crystalline sea with those shades that range from green to intense blue. Lunch near the beach. Return to the riding school in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.

From May to September it is not possible to go with horses to the beach, the itinerary will therefore be as follows: departure for a full day trek towards Clodia Island, located at the extreme north of the Diaccia Botrona Marshes; in ancient times this small but suggestive relief of land was an island in the middle of Lake Prile and served as a landing place for Etruscan ships. Clodius had his villa built on it in the 1st century BC. In the morning in this stretch of marsh the colors reach their maximum splendor. We will walk around the beach with lunch set up along the way. Return and dinner at the riding school. Overnight at Hotel
