Seasons
This ride takes place in a transition zone between the maritime climate of the coast and the more continental climate further inland.
Precipitations are less frequent in the southern part of the Santarem region, but as we go further north and get closer to the mountains, risk of rainfall increases. Most precipitations usually occur between October and March.

This region is also known to be quite windy, as the important number of windmills attest.
