Enjoyed the most
The horses, the guides and the country is out of this world. The only problem is you really have to “rough it” to see this part of the world. It’s a trip for an adventurous experienced rider as there are not a lot of amenities. It the glorious land and horses are well worth it.

Have taken many trips thru Hidden Trails over the past years.
One of my most enjoyable trips (I have been on 10). I feel a great sense of accomplishment as this was a very fast aggressive ride that covered a lot of distance.

The vastness of the land, experienced while riding the Icelandic horses. Appreciated the mix of riding and stopping to hike, view, experience the natural wonders of the areas. It was a great adventure.
First, even though we were cautioned to expect basic food, I did miss the usual really good food of most of our trips. Second, would ordinarily think that one guide per 17 riders would not be nearly enough, but surprisingly it all worked out. The riders were all patient and helpful to each other. Almost all were clearly competent riders.

Enjoyed the most: Length & diversity of the trips, possibility to choose horse for the last day, weather ;-)
Bothered you: The group was very big, we needed to wait 2 hours in the morning before the horses where ready (horse shoes needed...), some of the French didn't speak a lot English and didn't understand the commandos of the guide which let to difficult situations with the herd.
Comments: Our guides Saevar, Maria and Jona were excellent, the chef Hanna as well!
Enjoyed the most: The guides were very helpful and fun to be with, The horses were very fun to ride, did not get stiff or sore all week!! The scenery was so different from anything I've seen. What an experience!!
Bothered you: I would have liked to have had more opportunity to take pictures of some of the beautiful areas we saw!

Enjoyed the most: The entire trip was fantastic. If I had to pick one thing in particular, I would say, our guide, Bjarni, and his wonderful horses!
