Guest Ranch near Tombstone
Arizona
USA
Just outside of Tombstone a new Western guest ranch has opened. Experience the Wild West and all that it entails, from the gunfight
with Doc Holliday to a horseback ride into the sunset. Let
stage coaches pass you by in the vast countryside. Enjoy great views and listen to the coyotes howl. Here your dreams of the Old West come true! The Western program includes trail riding to your heart's desire, movie nights under the
open sky, live country music around the
campfire, western shows in the original saloon with international artists,
Can-Can, stagecoach rides, pool parties, and much more.
This unique ranch offers everything a
horse lover could wish for. Dried out river streams - also called 'washes' - drag on for miles through the country and perfect for nice canters. Novice riders will quickly
learn in the arena the gentle Native riding style, characterized by respect and
trust. We will guide you through some of the most beautiful country you've ever experienced, where the extraordinary scenery changes every few minutes. These trail rides are for all levels of riding skill in addition to offering unique photo opportunities for those who want to capture the beauty of the desert. Morning rides are long enough to enjoy the scenery, with as many rest or photo stops as the riders desire, and are accompanied with stories of nature and local history shared by the wranglers. Interested in some cattle work, we can set this up for you as well.
Lodgings are provided in luxurious guest rooms like "Wyatt Earp" or "Doc Holliday" along a special Western-theme street of the 1880s. Vacation
in Jail? Or maybe at the Grand hotel? You can
select between 17 different guest houses. Each Western theme is special
and individually equipped with authentic interior of that time - and of course an authentic Western Saloon is there for your evening entertainment -- you may even play a 'round of Poker' with Doc Holliday as the dealer. We also organize trips to into the Dragoon Mountains or into Tombstone, the saloons,
the gunfight, shopping, Old Tucson Film-Studios, Tucson Desert
Museum, and the Old Bisbee
Mining Town.

Rates do not include:
All-day rides with trailering the horses to Sonoita or the Dragoons. Alcoholic beverages and other drinks from the bar. Guided sightseeing excursions.
Pets are not allowed.
The day to day itinerary is completely up to you: we will make it work. Ride on relaxing trails or canter in the sandy river beds - ride as little or as much as you like -- there are three rides daily to choose from. Visit Tombstone, enjoy the pool and whirlpool or visit the saloon and play a round of pool or poker. Everything is possible, within the theme of the Old West of course.

On your first riding day you take an easy trail ride as an introduction to the horses, western riding techniques, and the desert-to-mountain terrain, before joining other rides in the riding program. The wranglers may teach you the tricks of roping, or join the native cowboys and learn their "gentle" way of riding. From time to time we will be moving some of the ranch cattle to give you a feel for the "Cowboy Work".
After an adventurous day, enjoy a hot-stone massage and other spa treatments for a special evening. Or how about a romantic dinner for two, served at sunset on one of our view-rocks? Evenings are full of entertainment from horseshoe pitching, pool billiards, darts, poker, movie nights under the open sky, live country music around the campfire or in the saloon, western shows with international artists, Can-Can, stagecoach rides, and pool parties.
You are in for an incredible week. Your safety is our number one goal and having a blast is a close second. Our staff will accommodate the guests needs as best as possible.
You will get to see the Cowboys training the horses. You will each go through a riding and horse orientation and you will get to ride. Enjoy beautiful Cochise County. We prefer to teach you how to ride, rather than ask you to hang on during a loping ride on the trails. Our horse program is available to all of our guests subject only to certain age, weight and health restrictions.

Advanced Rides
The Advanced Ride is a combination of walking, trotting and cantering and is offered a number of times throughout the week. This ride is exhilarating and, as always, you safety is most important. Even an accomplished rider will tell you that every horse is different and it take a little time you to get comfortable with each other. We make sure you and your horse are ready to kick it up a notch before heading out the trail. All riders wishing to do the Advanced Ride, regardless of riding experience, will be tested by our wranglers beforehand. Talk with your experience wranglers to see if you could use a few pointers to advance your trail riding experience. The Advanced Rides are only available in the morning due to afternoon heat in the summer - it is typically too warm for the horses. For riders who wish to do more riding, we recommend our Rider's Weeks. After their introductory morning Trail Ride, guests will be checked in the arena to demonstrate their ability to sit well and control the horse at an advanced speed before signing up for the Advanced Ride the following day. Remember - not all the time is spent loping on these rides - there are times when the terrain presents its own challenges!
Each day offer 3 rides that last between 1.5 and 3 hrs (at least one of the rides is a 'loping' ride) with two half-day rides available during the week.
Excursions
Special trips can be arranged to Tombstone, to the saloons, the Gunfight or shopping, Old Tucson Film-Studios, Tucson Desert Museum; Chiricahua Ntl. Monument (Hiking), Nogales (Mexico); Old Bisbee Mining Town; Kartchner Caverns.
Tombstone - The Town too Tough to Die!

We are time traveling into the year 1881. The Wild West was still wild and the morality rough and wicked. Fuming colts, easy girls and tough men everywhere. Grumpy figures cross our way. Wyatt Earp in a duel with the Clantons at the OK Corral. Three of the men laying motionless on the dusty road. Now it is clear and makes perfect sense why this town is called “Tombstone”. We meet Doc Holliday on Allen Street. A stagecoach is passing by. The time is right for a cold beer. We step into the world famous saloons and feel like heroes in a Wild West movie about Tombstone and its legends.
