Recommendations

  • Drink plenty of water before your trip. For longer journeys water will be supplied
  • Apply sun-block beforehand and bring sunglasses. The equatorial sun is extremely strong even behind the clouds. Obligatory helmets come with visors.
  • Wear jeans or thick pants and a sturdy pair of shoes or sneakers
  • Bring a camera to capture the astounding views but make sure it is well protected

Usually to be found in the stables: 8 horses, llamas, pigs, guinea-pigs, rabbits, guinea-hens, turkeys, chickens, dogs, cows, geese, etc.

You need to be in good health and physical condition to enjoy these trips, with adequate muscular strength and cardiovascular endurance.

You must be extremely physically fit and are expected to hike or ride four to six hours over steep or more rugged terrain.

Prolonged hiking/biking on moderate to difficult terrain (five to nine hours a day).
