Itinerary
Day 1: Meet
& greet at the San Jose International Airport.
Your driver and guide for the week will pick you
up at the airport early afternoon and then starts out for
Sarapiqui. Dinner and overnight at
Sueno Azul Resort (D)
Day 2: Rain Forest Ride
Today you will experience the real rainforest by
ridding through it. There is lots to see in the way
of wildlife. The ride takes you to a beautiful
jungle waterfall. return back to Sueno Azuel.
Breakfast and lunch included this day.
Riding time 3+ hours
Day 3: Ride to Rio Foresta
Today we'll be riding on the FINCA of Sueno Azuel to
Rio Foresta. This ride goes through pasture and
forest with good areas to canter.
There is time today to do an optional white water
rafting trip on the Sarapiqui River before or after
today's ride. Overnight Sueno Azul resort. Breakfast
and lunch included this day. Overnight Sueno Azuel
Resort.
Riding time 3+ hours
Day 4: Sun Set over the Pacific Ocean
Transfer to the Pacific Coastal area, stopping en
route for lunch. Arrive in time to do a fantastic
Sunset ride. Here you will truly enjoy the view of
the Pacific Ocean as the sun slowly sets. Overnight
Villa Lapas.
Breakfast and lunch included this day
Riding time 3 hours
Day 5: Biajuel Route of the Conquistadors
The ride today is over incredible terrain. This is
part of the “Route of the Conquistadors”, world
famous bike race. This is a very remote region yet
incredibly close to civilization As you ride, the
beauty of the area will truly amaze you. Lunch
included. Overnight Villas Lapas.
Riding time 5+ hours
Day 6: Playa Hermosa
Today we ride from Biajuel all the way over the
mountain range to Playa Hermosa. This is a long day
of riding but the scenery with the ocean views will
keep you enthralled. Lunch included. Overnight
Terrazas del Pacifico,
where the sound of the ocean will lull you to sleep.

Riding time 5+ hours
Day 7: Beach
Because the beach ride depends on the tide, you’ll
either be riding on the beach in the morning or
afternoon. So exciting is the beach ride where you
and your horse can run full speed . The horses
really enjoy the chance to run on the beach and
through the surf at the water’s edge. Overnight at
Terrazas del Pacifico Breakfast included. Lunch and
dinner at your own expense There is time to do and
optional Canopy Zip Line tour or perhaps do some
shopping in the nearby town of Jaco Beach
Riding time 3 hours.
Day 8: Depart Costa Rica
Transfer out to the International Airport... depart.
Breakfast included this day. Departures should be
scheduled for an afternoon flight.
