Accomodations for Outer Hebrides and Skye Walk

This itinerary spends two nights on Skye followed by 4 nights on the Isle of of Harris. Heading over the sea to Skye, we spend our first two nights at the Stein Inn, a which offers traditional accommodation blended with modern comforts. Located right on the shoreline, it is a lovely place to relax after a walk and it has an excellent reputation for meals. It also holds the Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Moving west to the Isle of Harris, we stay in a 4-star Guest House, renowned for its warm Hebridean welcome and fantastic home cooking. The Guest House could not have a more stunning location, overlooking the famous Luskintyre Beach and its white sands which stretch for miles out to the azure sea. The Isle of Taransay – home of the islanders in the BBC series ‘Castaway’ – is just across the sea and you will be able to watch as the sun sets behind its hills each evening. Single Supplements Please note that on this itinerary, single rooms are not available. This is simply due to the fact that the accommodations we use have only a small number of rooms and we generally have the whole place for our group. Due to their remote locations, there are not always any other options nearby. Single travellers are welcome to join these trips but must be prepared to share a twin room with another group member of the same sex.
