Banff - Adventure Expeditions
Alberta Canada

Not being offered in 2011

The most challenging and rugged trips we offer in
Banff National Park are the Adventure Expedition rides, designed for the outdoor enthusiast. These horseback pack trips take you and fellow adventurers deep into the heart of Banff National Park. The cowboys will guide you through the best photographers haven that the Canadian Rockies have to offer - while the cook and packer will set up your camp for the night and prepare a feast that will surely fill you for the day's adventures. The horses, chosen especially to meet your needs and experience, will win you over with their charming personalities and amaze you with their abilities. A strong "partnership" is usually formed by ride's end.
The mountains are best viewed from the back of a horse. So leave behind the deadlines and schedules and trade them for fresh mountain air, a good horse and a trail that leads you to one spectacular view after another. Wildlife viewings are always a possibility as the grizzlies, black bears, elk, and deer roam freely throughout Banff National Park. New camps are established daily as the expedition penetrates further into the mountains. You will visit isolated areas of Banff National Park that few have an opportunity to experience, and travel mountain passes and valleys that are of unsurpassed beauty.
We are pleased to offer a number of exciting and educational interpretive trips each summer featuring leading authorities on wildlife, photography, mule-manship, and Banff National Park, as well as a bit of fun and history.
