Tuolumne Meadows Ride - Yosemite
California
USA
During August, spend five exhilarating days wandering through one of the most beautiful places on earth − Yosemite National Park, America's first and foremost National Park. These trips explore the uncrowded back-country along the John Muir Trail. The John Muir Trail starts at Mount Whitney, through King's Canyon, Sequoia Park and finally through the Ansel Adam's Wilderness to Yosemite. This particular ride allows you to discover and to revel in the beauty of the Ansel Adams Wilderness, with its spectacular alpine scenery with barren granite peaks, steep-walled gorges and rock outcroppings. Starting at the pack station, you'll conquer the heights of Donohue Pass and descend into the magic splendor of Yosemite and Tuolumne Meadows. The Tuolumne Meadows area of Yosemite National Park is quite different from the valley and Wawona. It's the high country, with an altitude of 8,500 at it's lowest point.
In the month of July, we invite you to join us on some very special pack trips with excellent fishing for Golden Trout, on a trail itinerary that will take you through the peaceful solitude of the beautiful Ansel Adams Wilderness nearby the Yosemite National Park. We'll show you the best fishing spots, best riding trails and set up camp in the most picturesque places. We will treat you to delicious mountain gourmet food around the campfire, tales of the trails and an unforgettable holiday with friends and family!
