Autumn Highlights & Spring Splendor!
During Autumn, this colorful trail ride is designed to take advantage of the magnificent seasonal colors of the region that extravagantly comes about each September and October. Blanketed in blazing color, nature heralds a vibrant Indian summer on the Eastern side of Canada. It is a truly magical time of golden warmth to be savored before the first snowfalls of winter come to lay across the land. This progressive riding holiday immerses riders into the unique Quebecois culture and your hosts take great pride in sharing with you their spectacular corner Eastern Canada, with its glorious palettes of crimson and gold. You have the opportunity here to ride through some stunningly beautiful and wild scenery with exciting gallops and plenty of trotting on fit and willing trail horses. Weave through the iconic Canadian maple forests, along pine tree lined logging roads, past lively rushing rivers and sparkling lakes. The overnight accommodations along the trail all serve top quality cuisine, are attractively built and decorated with the charm of the region's history.
Come Spring again, we will take this trail ride with a novel perspective! Everything is fresh, young and new after the cold Canadian winter has finally passed! The wilderness around us comes back to vibrant life and the air is refreshed with the annual excitement of spring splendor as we welcome back the sunshine. Everything seems to sparkle and gleam with renewal; from the first brave wildflowers that grace the meadows to the quickly growing saplings and the bright new growth on the older trees. If you rode the same trail back in the fall with us, you will marvel at how the change in seasons brings about a whole new riding experience in the beautiful countryside of Quebec! There's plenty of opportunity for long and exhilarating canters and you may even find a spot to swim if it’s warm enough (or you are brave enough)!

Winter Wonderland!
There is something quite fascinating about horseback riding cross country in the midst of a Canadian winter, so long as you keep those hands and toes warm!  While many North American riding operations close to visitors for the winter, the little equestrian inn nestled outside of Courcelles has decided to use the picturesque and charming Quebec winter wonderland to everyone’s benefit because although cold temperatures abound, there is much beauty to see and many things to do in the magic of mother nature at her most frosty, but arguably most magnificent. Horseback riding through the snow itself is something pretty special, both riders and horses alike seem to sense extra adventure when the trails are beautiful unmarked blankets of fresh and silent snow. Each mysterious white trail will lead us to new discoveries: a rustic trapper cabin, a mill restored as a museum, traditional maple sugar shacks, a husky dog farm, hidden forest chalets and more! There are opportunities for dog sledding on one day !
