South Amboseli Ride

South Amboseli Ride
Tanzania Tanzania
This is a trail with long routes and therefore offers most of the riding, but also change of landscapes and good game. We will ride along the Ngasurai Plains where the migratory herds from Amboseli pass through on their way to Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Park from the beginning of the rains. The area is famous for elephants and old bulls can be met here amongst other game. You may encounter elephant herds, further expect to meet zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, eland and other antelopes in small herds. Part of this route we ride during our Big Game Trail but the route of the South Amboseli Trail will lead us much further into the wilderness – increasing the chance to meet more and a wider variety of game. This route is only done for this program as it requires motivated riders that do not get tired easily.
