Three Valley Trail
Day 1: Arrival in Nassau an der Lahn in the late afternoon, transfer and overnight at a local inn (dinner on your own today).
Day 2: Depart after breakfast. Ride through the Gelbachtal Valley to the historic Bruchhaeuser Mill (26 km)
Day 3: Over the mountain pass you reach the Lahntal Valley. In the village of Obernhof you cross the river Lahn. The ride continues at the Cloister of Arnstein in the wonderful nature of the Jammertal Valley. Ride along the "TaunusHoehen" to a cozy Brewery Restaurant (35 km). Overnight in a pension.
Day 4: Today we explore the countryside around our lodgings. Riding through the forest we reach Burg Hohenfels.
Day 5: We ride through the Taunus passing the "Schaumburg" we return at Balduinstain along the Lahn. We reach the Daubachtal where a wonderful canter is planned. Arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner tonight is not included.
Day 6: Departure after breakfast.
Panorama Trail
Day 1: Arrival in Nassau an der Lahn in the late afternoon and overnight at a local inn (dinner on your own today).
Day 2: Depart after breakfast. We ride towards the "Rueckenhof", which was the hunting retreat for the Cardinal of Trier 300 years ago. Nice canters across wide open country are dominant today.
Day 3: Through deep valleys we ride towards Dausenau at the Lahn. Riding through a medieval entry way and passing a 1100 year old oak tree we cross the Lahn River. Overnight in a pension.
Day 4: We ride along the Lahn to the idyllic wine village of Obernhof, where we will cross a river again. Overnight at a riding center that caters to trail riders.
Day 5: We ride along the Herta Lake (swimming is possible if weather co-operates) and return to our original departure location. Dinner tonight is not included.
Day 6: Departure after breakfast.

The climate in this area of Germany is most pleasant. From May to mid-October it is lovely, with warm days and mild evenings. Rains can occur anytime throughout the year, but in summer they are usually of short duration. You may even have the thrill of a thunderstorm after a hot day!
