French Wines Revived |

French wine makers have made recent attempts of revive and restore historical French varieties of wine.
These rare strains were wiped out in 1850 when an imported American grapevine unwittingly brought a breed of insect into France which destroyed vineyards across the country! Now they hope to make a resurgence in the market...

On October 2nd, the 11th annual "ENJOY JAZZ" festivities kick off in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Ludwigshafen, Germany!
The American Saxophonist Charles Lloyd will open the
11th International festival for jazz and more on in the
Heidelberg castle. Also the last concert of the festival will be played
by an important Saxophonist: Wayne Shorter will
finish the festival with his concert on November 11 in the town hall of
Heidelberg. In six festival weeks numerous jazz-stars such as Richard Bona, Branford Marsalis, Cassandra Wilson or Joshua Redman will be playing. The program will expanded in the next weeks to about 60 events.
Festival runs until November 11th, 2009.
