Equestrian tours in Israel

Israel

Travel restrictions
As of March 1st 2022, tourists of all ages will be permitted to enter Israel, vaccinated and unvaccinated alike.

However, since January 2023, non-Israelis who have been in China during the 7 days prior to departure to Israel, will be required to present to the airline before boarding, a negative PCR test result performed up to 72 hours before the flight. This is valid even if the departure to Israel is from another country.

As of May 21st 2022, it is not required to present a certificate of recovery or vaccination, and it is not required to take a COVID test upon entry to Israel. However, these guidelines are in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health in Israel - and you should also check with the airline or cruise line you are using.

As of October 9th 2022, it is no longer required to fill out the Israel Entry Form.

Currently there is no legal requirement of isolation after entering Israel.

Measures taken by the government
The Government of Israel announced updated guidelines and restrictions regarding personal movements and social distancing to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). These guidelines include the requirement to wear a protective mask that covers the nose and mouth in public.

Testing
The Israeli Ministry of Health (MOH) maintains a list of medical centers for viral COVID-19 testing:  https://www.gov.il/en/Departments/Guides/flying-to-israel-guidlines?chapterIndex=4  Many local hospitals, clinics, and laboratories offer testing for travel purposes. Travelers are responsible for the costs of their own tests and any associated medical care. Testing in a state hospital costs NIS 297 max per test. The cost can change from time to time. Please ensure that the test provider you choose will provide test results that comply with CDC guidelines and those of your airline.

As of August 24th 2022, PCR tests will also be available in Ben Gurion Airport, free of charge, in the reception hall following luggage collection and customs clearing (Complex G, positions 20-21).
As well as in Ben Gurion Airport, the test can also be performed free of charge at the designated testing compounds or the HMOs.
As of November 6th 2022, PCR testing will no longer operate at Ben Gurion Airport.
