Southern Africa has it all: beaches, forests, big game reserves and rivers.  Choose South Africa for a visit to a game reserve near the Waterberg Mountains, camping in the Songimvelo Game Reserve, a stay in Swazi thatched rondavels at Ebutsini Village, and sightings of rhinos, elephants, buffalos and leopards.  Relaxing on the beach of the Indian Ocean offers a chance to spot whales and dolphins.  Namibia offers rides along the Okapuka River, among a herd of giraffe or wild hartebeest grazing.  In Botswana explore the Okavango Delta and the dry lands of the Kalahari.  Head to Zimbabwe and Victoria Falls for horseback trips through the Mopane Woodland and Chobe National Park.  Botswana and Namibia both offer excellent horseback rides through private game reserves, with a chance to spot the “Big 5”.  And then there is Mozambique with its breathtaking sandy beaches for endless canters.
