For Masai Mara Ride - Aloe Blossom (IT-KYRT01):

We would like to assure our guests of our commitment to caring for them and our staff. With the support of the Kenya Government and the WHO, we have developed the following protocols to ensure that your safari is safe.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR KENYA (as per the Kenya Airport Authority website)
1. Pre-arrival on-line visas are now mandatory. Visas upon arrival are no longer available.
Visitors apply for their visas via: http://evisa.go.ke/evisa.html
2. A Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or a Certificate of Exemption from a medical practitioner.
3. A negative PCR Covid-19 test certificate. The PCR test results must be no older than 72 hours prior to checking-in to your flight.
4. A completed Travelers Health Surveillance Form to be presented on arrival in Kenya. The form must be filled out online prior to arrival in Kenya. Print off the QR Code that you will receive via e-mail after submission of the form. If you are having difficulty getting the QR Code, see the following link: https://www.health.go.ke/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Jitenge-Retrieving-QR-Code-Process-MoH2-converted-1.pdf
Easier if the form is filled on a computer rather than a phone. Please have the code ready to show the health authorities on arrival.
5. Visitors must obtain a Trusted Traveler Code (TTC) after acquiring their test results. In order to do so, validate your PCR test results on the Trusted Travel Portal or https://login.xchange.panabios.org/cas/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Ftrustedtravel.panabios.org%2Faccounts%2Flogin%2F%3Fnext%3D%252F
Once your results have been validated you will be issued with a TTC by the system, approving you for entry into Kenya. Please click here for a guide to this process. If having difficulties with the above portals, you may use www.globalhaven.org to generate a travel stamp. Your Vaccination Certificate must also be loaded onto the portal.
6. Guests will be required to wear a mask while in all public places, including the flight out into the bush.
7. The majority of countries around the world are exempt from quarantine. However, please check that you are exempt: https://www.kcaa.or.ke/covid-19

DEPARTURE REQUIREMENTS FROM KENYA
1. A negative PCR Covid-19 test certificate (in accordance with your airlines and your onward destination requirements).
2. Visitors finishing their safari in the Mara, have the option of being tested in camp (US$ 140 to be paid in cash), and receiving their test results within 24 hours. Test results will be e-mailed to our office. The lab will validate your test and generate the TTC code. Your PCR test results and TTC code will be handed to you upon arrival back in Nairobi.

IMPORTANT - Any guest who is of ‘high risk from coronavirus’, should seek professional advice as to whether they should travel to Kenya at this time or not. It is imperative that guests also confirm with their airlines and their local authorities of any additional action or clearances they may require to travel. Everyone must be aware that there is an inherent risk of travel during this pandemic and be financially prepared if they happen to contract Covid-19 whilst here in Kenya.

Kenya has been awarded Safe Travel Status by the World Travel and Tourism Council, in recognition of the standardised Global Health and Hygiene protocols that have been put in place.
