Note:

Due to COVID-19 Corona virus pandemic and certain travel restrictions we are applying some temporary policy changes to some of our tours.

For Texas Equestrian Clinic (RCTX01):

We are taking bookings on a limited basis - no more than 2 parties, at a time, and no more than 10 total guests at one time. We are leaving 8 days between parties in each cabin. We are delivering meals to individual cabins, in order to preserve social distancing, and we are wearing masks when mounting up riders, and anytime we are closer to them than 10 feet.

So far, we have had no issues with the covid-19 virus here at the ranch, and we definitely want to keep it that way. To that end, we are implementing the following practices and policies. Please read them carefully, and share them with your family and party members.

Before you come:
1) Make certain that no one within your party has run a temperature above 98.7 degrees F, had a persistent, dry cough, had difficulty breathing, nor exhibited any other symptoms of the Covid-19 virus, within the two weeks previous to your arrival date.
2) If anyone in your party has been in contact with a person who has had Covid-19 symptoms, or who has tested positive for the virus during the 14 days previous to your arrival date, contact us immediately.
3) if anyone in your party has been infected with the Covid-19 virus, or tested positive for it, they must be symptom-free, and must have received 2 negative test results on 2 consecutive days 20 or more days prior to your arrival date in order for you to be allowed to come to the ranch. If you must cancel your reservation for any Covid-19 related reason, you will not be charged any fees.

Upon your arrival:
•  Sanitize your hands before and after opening and closing our front gate, since it is manually operated. There is a bottle of sanitizer hanging on the gate post.
•  All guests are required to wear masks anytime they are closer than 6 feet to a person from another party, or to one of our staff members. Of course, guests do not have to do so when with members of their own family or party members. Our staff members are doing the same.
• We are asking our guests to sanitize their hand before entering the barn, and to wear masks when inside the barn or the round pen, during the mounting-up and dis-mounting processes, and anytime they are with in 6 feet of our staff member, or within 6 feet of a guest from a party other than their own. Our staff members are also wearing masks during the mounting up and dis-mounting processes, and any other time that they are within 6 feet of a guest.
• The State Natural Area is open, and our guests are welcome to access its 5500 acres and 40 miles of trails for free, through our private entrance. Their safety protocols regarding Covid-19 are the same as those described above, and our guests are required to abide by them while in the park.
•  Our pool is open, as we maintain internationally recognized practices for maintaining pool sanitation and safety. Politely maintain social distancing from members of other parties while at the pool, or put on a mask, if you intend to come closer than 6 feet to someone outside of your own party.

In addition to the measures described above, we and our staff are implementing the following safety procedures:
• We are implementing check-in and check-out procedures with minimal physical contact. Upon your arrival, a disclaimer will be on the white settee on the front porch of our ranch house/ office for each of you. Each adult, please sign it, print your children's names on the bottom line, and leave it there on the settee. Additionally, there will be a welcome folder for your accommodation there with your party's name on it. Open it and take it with you to your cabin or suite. The map and key to your accommodation will be inside of it.
• We are sanitizing each accommodation thoroughly, and leaving each accommodation vacant for at least 24 hours before allowing another party to occupy it.
• We are taking no more than 15 total guests at any one time, and allowing groups of no more than 10 people to congregate in any one area, unless they are all within the same family or booking group.
• Our staff members are frequently washing and/ or sanitizing or hands.

By following these procedures and our other precautionary measures, we feel that we can maintain the safety of our beautiful ranch environment, while offering guests a place to escape the stress of these times. Please rest assured that in spite of us having minimal physical contact with our guests, we will welcome you and provide each of you with the utmost personal attention and care.
