This tour has been designed to let participants discover four of the most exceptional sites on horseback.
During the ride, we will pass through several high mountain villages of medieval origin such as: Anciles, Cerler, Sahún... We will learn about the local history, medieval architecture and the locals' unique way of life.

The horses will spend the night in the mountains and at the end of each stage and the riders will be picked up and transferred back to their hotel for the night (no more than 27km). These transfers are included in the price.
Day 1: Arrival
Once you arrive in the village of Anciles, you will enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful and historic stonehouses.

Day 2: Collado de Sahun
After breakfast, we start our ride from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guayente, crossing the beautiful town of Sahun. We then enter a mixed forest before ascending to the Collado de Sahun, at 2025 meter above sea level. This pass connects the Benasque and the Plan valleys. On our way down, we see 2 beautiful waterfalls from the Barbarisa lake, where we stop for a small break. Once back in the saddle, we ride on a narrow path through a forest of aspens, birches and oak trees, making our way back to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guayente.

Day 3: Estos Valley
Today, we ride through the Estos Valley, sculpted by glaciers over 40 million years ago. Here, farmers bring their cattle to graze during the summer months.
All along our ride, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 4: Cerler
This morning, we leave from Cerler, the highest village of the Aragonese Pyrenees, at 1540 m high. We enjoy stunning views over the Benasque Valley. We will eventually reach an alpine meadow at an altitude of 2000 m. From there, we can see some of the highest mountains of the Pyrenees. While heading back to Cerler, we will come across the Ardones waterfall.

Day 5: Portillon de Benasque
Our destination for the day is the Portillon de Benasque. We will ride through the heart of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park.

Accommodations
This is a stationary ride so you will be staying at the same accommodation each night.
Description
This small hotel beautifully blends in with the surrounding environment. The rooms are simple but comfortable and all come equipped with a private bathroom, a phone, TV and heating.
There is free wi-fi available at this property.

In case we are unable to find you a roommate, a single supplement fee will apply.
Meals
All meals are included from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast on the last day.
Breakfasts and dinners are eaten at the hotel.
