The Chianti from Florence to Siena

The Chianti from Florence to Siena
Tuscany Italy

The typical Chianti landscape is a hilly, varied and colorful landscape: here is where the famous wine was born. Nevertheless, this area does not consist exclusively in vineyards and olive groves. Depending on the season the nature offers fabulous and colorful sceneries: from the red poppies to the violet irises, from the yellow brooms to the green firs and cypresses. Moreover, golden stone villages and castles are scattered in the landscape: one is the Brolio Castle, rich in suggestions from ancient times, where you will certainly have the possibility of tasting some good wine.

You can still enrich your stay in Tuscany with a visit to Florence - the city of Leonardo, Giotto, Dante and Brunelleschi - and to Siena, native land of the "Palio", a city with a preserved medieval atmosphere. These two jewels have in common the fact that they belong to one of the most famous areas of Tuscany: "the wine road", the one you will follow walking along silent paths and roads surrounded by hill, vineyards and olive groves.
