Note:

Due to COVID-19 Corona virus pandemic and certain travel restrictions we are applying some temporary policy changes to some of our tours.

For La Barra to Garzon Ride (IT-URRT03):
We currently offer to postpone bookings affected by the pandemic with almost no penalties. 

Everyone traveling to Uruguay is now required to:
• Have a Negative COVID TEST (with the PCR-RT technique approved by the Uruguayan Ministry of Health) done no longer than 72 hours before arriving to the country
• Perform a new COVID TEST (with the PCR-RT technique approved by the Uruguayan Ministry of Health) on the 7th day in Uruguay, in case they stay longer than a week.
• Sign an affidavit when entering the country, stating that they have no COVID symptoms and that they have not been in contact with any confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to arrival.
• Have health insurance that will cover them in case of COVID19. Please note that the insurance must guarantee assistance in the closest health service, considering the network of health services available in Uruguay, complying with the hygiene measures required by the Ministry of Public Health, and avoiding the use of collective public transport.

When entering Uruguay
• Body temperature will be controlled at point of entry, which must be less than 37.3 ° C.
• The use of a face mask will be compulsory in those venues that usually involve contact with other people with a distance less than two meters away (restaurants, supermarkets, etc.)

Riding Level Explained
ABeginner
Beginner A rider who has limited experience, is unable to post the trot and does not canter.
BNovice
Novice A rider who is capable of mounting and dismounting unassisted, capable of applying basic aids, comfortable and in control at the walk, moderate length posting trots, and short canters.
CIntermediate
Intermediate A rider who has a firm seat, is confident and in control at all paces (including posting trots, two point canters and gallops), but does not ride regularly.
D Strong Intermediate
Strong Intermediate An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours per day.
EAdvanced
All of the above, plus an independent seat, soft hands, and capable of handlinga spirited horse in open country.
Lodging: Standard
Lodging Level Explained
   
= Facilities in lodges, estancias, haciendas, resorts, etc.
   
Basic lodging - some with shared bathroom facilities, usually no AC or room service.
Regular standard room - usually with private bath.
