Colores de Mexico Ride

Colores de Mexico Ride
Central Mexico Mexico

During this week-long ride at Rancho Las Cascadas you'll see different regions, picturesque villages and ever-changing countryside. There are no boundaries or fences here, so you will get to experience unsurpassed equestrian riding in the real Mexico.

This stationary ride is run in a “daisy” format.  Each day the rides go out, loop around (as in a petal shape) and return to the Ranch in a different direction.  Daily rides vary and include everything from relaxing walks on roads through local villages to long, fast canters in wide open fields.  And as you retreat into the nearby valleys and follow the bubbling streams, you'll feel as if you're in your own Garden of Eden.

The days are fun and active with about 5 hours of daily riding at a moderate pace - approximately 50% walking and 50% cantering.  This ride is suitable for folks who are confident at all gaits on the trail but want a nice, more relaxed ride with varied days.

Rancho Las Cascadas is an all-inclusive ranch in the heart of Mexico.  It sits high above the mountain plains and is nestled amidst more than 500,000 acres of pristine countryside offering limitless guided trails and open-range horseback riding for all abilities.

While riding, stop in one of the pueblos (small towns) for a drink and explore.  The wranglers can introduce you to the locals and highlight points of interest. When not riding, enjoy scheduled sightseeing, cultural and shopping tours to really experience the local culture.

If you prefer a more advanced ride, check out the Highland & Canyon Explorer ride.  Or, if you don't have a whole week to spare, consider an A la carte Riding package.
