You will be picked up from the Muscat International Airport by our friendly & efficient chauffer who will drive you to the hotel.
After settling down at hotel we will proceed with the tour to the traditional Souq. The Muttrah Souq is one of the oldest markets in the Arab world. For centuries, it has served in the trade of goods which arrived at the port of Muscat from India, China, Europe and other parts of the Middle East. The Souq remains a lively market, and sells fresh products; vegetables; herbs and spices as well as traditional fabrics, clothes,
jewelry, pottery etc. Immerse yourself in its buzzing and fragrant atmosphere, whose alleys are lined with shops and vendors.
Explore the winding alleys and follow the aromas of scented oils, fresh jasmine and spices. Small shops in the market sell embroidered fabric, veils and clothing in some stalls, antiques and gilded decorations, while in others, spices and powdered tinctures are divided into colored heaps.
Meals included: none
Overnight at Muttrah Holiday Inn Hotel or similar
Day 2 (Sunday): Sultan Qaboos Mosque Visit & Barka Beach Ride
This morning, visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Then, transfer to the Barka stables where the local team will be waiting for you. We starts our horse-riding adventure on the immense beaches of Barka, where you will be trotting and cantering this afternoon. Arrival at sunset at your hotel!

Day 3 (Monday): Barka to Mussanah

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 4 (Tuesday): Semi-desert Ride
Today, we transfer to the endurance tracks, where the team and the horses that have been transported await you. We ride through a semi-desert landscape strewn with acacia trees. In the distance, we can see the Hajar mountain range. Today, we will ride between 4 and 5 hours.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Wadi Al Abyad
After an early breakfast (around 7 am) you get back in the saddle and set off to the beautiful Wadi Al Abyad "the white wadi". Red dunes and mountains create a striking contrast. You will take a small break, followed by lunch in the desert before continuing your journey on horseback.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Overnight at Muscat Holiday INN Hotel 4* or similar
Day 7 (Friday): Daymaniyat Island (weather dependent)
Departure from either Marina Bandar Rawdha or Al Mouj Muscat marina (your choice).
If you depart from Marina Bandar Rawdha it will take approx. 1.5 hours to get to the islands however, the advantage is you will get to see some of Oman’s coastline which can only be seen from the ocean (cemetery bay, Al Alam Palace, the engraving on the rocks and many more). You might even be lucky to see dolphin on your way as they tend to be around Marina Bandar Rawhda.
If you depart from Al Mouj Muscat marina, the trip is a lot shorter 45 mins however it is not as scenic.
Once you arrive on the island our team will help you with best place to snorkel. The island is famous for its coral reef rich in pelagic sea life, turtles are often spotted and whale sharks can also be seen during the right season ().
Departure Times:
From Marina Bandar Rawdha the ferry departs at 9 am and the return ferry picks up guests for 3pm.
From Al Mouj Muscat marina the ferry departs at 9 am and the return ferry picks up guests for 1pm.

Seasons
Oman's climate is typical of the Arabian Gulf with hot shoulder seasons (Sept-Nov Average high 30-36°C & Mar-May Average high 29-39°C), even hotter summers (June-Aug Average high 36-40°C) and mild winters (Dec-Feb Average high 25-27°C). It should be noted that the heat is dry most of the time, making it more bearable.
In addition, Oman's varied geography means that temperatures vary depending on where you are in the country. When visiting the Hajar Mountains, south of Muscat, always make sure to bring a sweater, even during the summer months! You should also remember that desert nights get cooler no matter the season.
Oman remains usually quite dry throughout the year with the exception of the southwest (close to the border with Yemen) which benefits from the 'Khareef' (rainy season) monsoon during the summer months. Thanks to the 'Khareef', this region benefits from a cooler summer and green vegetation covers the landscape.
