Willits Frontier Days - 4th of July Weekend
The town of Willits, California is home to a week-long 4th of July celebration known as Willits Frontier Days—host to California’s oldest continuous rodeo.
So plan on throwing your rope around our “4-star” events from the barbecue to the parade, from the gymkhana to the rodeo, from the horseshow to the Cutest Little Cowboy & Cowgirl contest, and much, much more.
It will be an Independence Day celebration you’ll be talkin’ about for a mighty long time. We look forward to seeing you there.

Mendocino Music Festival - July 11-25th, 2009
Evenings include orchestra concerts, Big Band concert, chamber music ensembles, dance, blues, world, and folk music. Days include lecture/recitals at the Piano Series, a children's matinee and more...

Yorkville Highlands Wine Festival
To celebrate our appellation’s birthday, we host our Wine Festival and fund-raiser each year at one of our member wineries. These summer gatherings feature fun events, like grape stomping and hoop throwing, wonderful live music, great food, and lots of delicious wine.

Whale Watching - December - April
Mendocino whale watching boats offer whale watching tours during the whale's migration past the Mendocino Coast. California Gray Whales migrate South from Alaska to Baja California during the months of December through February and return North during the months of February through April. They are very close to shore and only a 5-15 minute ride gets you a better than 95% chance of sighting these whales.
Whale watching with a charter boat is the perfect opportunity to be right next to these gentle giants and fun for people of all ages.
